Nothing Gold

Nature's first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf's a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay. -Robert Frost

I'm getting so excited!

This baby keeps getting closer and closer. Just 7 more weeks, and the time is really flying. I am really getting excited.

I'm planning on cloth diapering this time and I am really excited about it. I'm kind of getting obsessed with all the adorable options there are. It's way different than it was when my mom did it. If anyone that reads this does it, I'd love your advice.

I've been entering giveaways to try and win some fancy cloth diapers. So far no luck, I'm going to have to buy what I can.

The cloth diaper whisperer has giveaways every week and I really really want to win this week. Here's the link to their giveaway.

Piece of Me is giving away some Fuzzi Bunz. Here's the link to their giveaway.

Cloth baby planet is giving away a tiny tush diaper. Here's the link to their giveaway.

Yeah, I get extra entries for blogging about the giveaways, but I am really excited about this whole cloth diapering adventure in general, and I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Congrats on winning this week! Good luck on your quest to cloth diaper. It really is wonderful! My lo is 21 months and we've been at it since she was 2.5 months old. My hubby thinks I'm a bit too obsessed with it, but I just call it a hobby! ;)

We have used prefolds w/ covers, fitteds, pockets and an all-in-one through our diapering experience. No one call tell what will work for you...just don't be afraid to try something new. I was 'scared' of wool for a long time, and now I love my wool cover.

If you can get to a 'real' store, I highly recommend it. Its nice to actually see and touch them, but many on-line stores are great too. I've used Jilliansdrawers.com for most of my cding needs. They have a great trial program that gives you a bunch of different types of diapers to try to see what you like. Its great.

Sorry this is so long! Good luck!!
